"Hey." A smile.
"Hey yourself."
A soft laugh. "So what're you doing?"
A roll of the eyes. "What does it look like?"
"Reading?"
"Hey, you got it! Good job."
"Hmm. Well if you're really reading, why is the book upside down?"
A sheepish smile. "I'm challenging myself?"
An amused chuckle. "So are you going to show me that or not?"
"Show you what?"
"That pad you were drawing on."
"Drawing? I wasn't drawing."
"I saw you, sweetheart. Come on now, show me."
An embarrassed blush. "Really, it's nothing. You don't need to see."
"Well, I want to." Hands placed on hips. "Come on, sweetheart, I want to see."
Stephanie blushed deeper, flipping over her drawing pad. Tori's eyes widened as she looked over the naked picture of herself, drawn in intimate detail. "Wow," she exclaimed.
"I'm sorry, I just - " Stephanie cleared her throat. "You're so beautiful, I had to draw you," she whispered. "There are - there are more, if you want to see them."
Tori nodded, flipping through the pad. There were dozens of sketches of her, each in a different pose and devoid of clothing. Stephanie had paid great detail to perfectly sketching and shading every inch of her body. Tori could feel the care and affection each sketch had been drawn with. She turned her eyes up to Stephanie, a slightly awed smile on her lips. "These are beautiful," she whispered.
Stephanie looked up, the love in her eyes as bright as any star. "They couldn't compare to you," she said softly.
Tori smiled, feeling her heart swell within her chest. She reached out her hand, wrapping her fingers around the back of Stephanie's neck and pulling her into a passionate kiss. Stephanie wrapped her arms around Tori's slim waist, resting her head on Tori's shoulder with a soft sigh. "I love you," she whispered.
Tori's smile widened. She gently stroked Stephanie's soft brown hair, feeling warmed through out by the other woman's closeness. "I love you too," she breathed. She rested her head on Stephanie's shoulder, content to just be in her arms.
