"Hey."

 "Um, hi."

 An awkward silence.

"So, uh, some night last night."

 "Yeah."

The tall blonde cleared his throat, gazing down at the far smaller blonde. "Look, um, I know I was drunk, and I'm really sorry if - "

"Oh no, it was my fault, I was drunk too. I want you to know that I'd normally never act like that. I'm not that kind of guy."

"Yeah. Me neither." The taller man fidgeted uncomfortably. "So..."

"So." The smaller blonde glanced up awkwardly at his companion, looking more than a little embarrassed. "Look, uh, this is going to sound really stupid, but do you remember if, uh - if you used a condom?"

"I did," the tall blonde replied. "I wasn't sure at first, but I found a condom wrapper on the floor."

 "Oh. Good."

An awkward silence fell between them again.

"Um, listen," the taller blonde spoke at last. "I don't really remember it all that well, but I know when I woke up I felt really - I don't know." He paused, running his hand through his long blonde hair. "Satisfied, I guess."

The smaller man grinned. "Are you saying I'm good in bed?"

The tall blonde shrugged. "I don't know. I guess so."

The other man chuckled. "I certainly was sore when I woke up. You must've give me a hell of a pouding!"

"I guess I must've." the taller man grinned at the small blonde. "Look, um, this may be way out of line, but would you like to have dinner with me?"

The small blonde raised an eyebrow. "You sure you want your friends to see us together?"

"Sure, why not?" The tall man shrugged again.

The smaller of the two crossed his arms over his chest. "Are you just asking me out 'cos you want to find out how good it would be when we're sober? 'Cos I think you should know, I'm not necessarily gonna do it on the first date. I wouldn't want to get a reputation as a slut."

The tall blonde just chuckled. "And what makes you think I'd put out on the first date?"

They both looked at each other for a moment, then burst out laughing.

"Are we flirting?" the smaller man giggled.

"I dunno." The taller blonde was grinning broadly. "I think so. But anyway, Spike, I honestly don't just want to lay you. I like you. Of course it took getting trashed out of my mind for me to see that."

That's ok Hunter." Spike was smiling, the small athlete taking Hunter's hand as if was offered. "To be honest, I'd never even thought about you that way. Hell, we're practically different species!"

"Aw, we're not that different." Hunter looped his arm around the small blonde's shoulders, leading him towards the parking garage. "I'm glad we had this conversation."

"Me too," Spike agreed, not objecting in the least when Hunter's hand slid down to cup his ass. "Me too."
